Innovation Origins – Mentech’s HUME gives a voice to vulnerable individuals

Mentech Innovation, recently highlighted on Innovation Origins, has developed HUME. This cutting-edge digital system measures stress in vulnerable individuals, such as those with dementia or intellectual disabilities, using wearables and smart algorithms. Founded in 2018, HUME is now utilized by over thirty healthcare institutions. The technology has been clinically validated and has been in use in long-term care in the Netherlands since 2021. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for both patients and caregivers. We look forward to a future where we can broaden the application of our technology, not only in the healthcare sector but beyond.
