About Mentech

People with intellectual disabilities or dementia often struggle to express their emotions, pain, or discomfort, leading to unnecessary stress. As a result, their behavior may not always be understood, and healthcare professionals may not always provide the necessary attention and meaningful care.

Mentech has developed HUME to address this issue. HUME is an emotion recognition platform based on sensors, behavioral models, and machine learning. The sensors record physiological characteristics such as heart rate, skin conductance, and activity. This data is then converted into stress information through behavioral models. In this way, we can help caregivers better understand their clients and improve their quality of life.

Internship Description

Are you the visual creator who can capture our product in image and sound? If so, we are looking for you! Mentech offers various products. We want to present these products professionally in image and sound, while maintaining our vision and mission. Customer experience is vital to us. The internship assignment offers ample room for personal input and creativity. Additionally, the assignment provides an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of vulnerable target groups.

Your main tasks include:

• Developing promotional material, including a corporate film.
• Developing various case videos/video testimonials.
• Developing various instructional videos.
• Creating a header/cover/tradeshow video.

Your preferred profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in audiovisual specialization or a related field.
• A true team player with strong communication skills.
• Enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team with diverse backgrounds and nationalities.
• Able to quickly capture and convey a vision and mission through visual material.
